CFF Communications – Behind the Scenes #5

A new name, a New Year, a new overview with the latest news and client cases. Welcome to 2018!

“An M&A transaction has more stakeholders than just the financial community”

With our clients, ambassadors and business partners, we celebrated our 25th anniversary. During the festive evening on October 5, 2017, we presented our new name, CFF Communications: a change that reflects the broadening of our services in recent years. In an interview with M&A Magazine, our managing director Uneke Dekkers and executive director Geert Pielage, explain how the communications sector developed over the past 25 years. An M&A transaction, they argue, is more than a numbers game – there are many more stakeholders than just the financial community.

The overview below provides a peek behind the scenes, to illustrate the broad corporate communications role we fulfill for our clients.

CFF Communications advises TOC on its media strategy and supports the foundation by generating media attention for its activities since 2014. Congratulations Boyan! In the Netherlands it was launched jointly by Coca-Cola Nederland and Coca-Cola European Partners Nederland. This introduction was also the start of a 4-city roadshow named OPEN: a series of private meetings in which Coca-Cola invited clients, suppliers, NGO’s, politicians, students etc. to discuss sustainability and the new introduced commitments. CFF Communications provided strategic advice and media relations support. During the 4 weeks of roadshow Coca-Cola met with 700 people during 60 meetings, gathering a lot of ideas, practical initiatives and limitless inspiration. The video (Dutch) below, provides a short impression:

Four new department stores for Hudson’s Bay in 2018

2017 was the year in which Hudson’s Bay opened its first 10 department stores in the Netherlands. CFF has been supporting Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) since the announcement that Hudson’s Bay will enter the Dutch retail landscape. After only 16 months Hudson’s Bay opened its first 10 department stores in September 2017. CFF supported HBC with its communication for these openings. We manage national and local media relations and provided communications support with neighbors during construction and renovation works. We are now focusing on the upcoming store openings. In 2018, Hudson’s Bay will open 4 new department stores: Amersfoort, Amstelveen, Enschede, and Haarlem.
